14 Injured in a road accident at Kishtwar, 'Deputy Commissioner meets injured at hospital' | KNO

Jammu, June 22 (KNO) : At least 14 passengers were injured in a road accident at Kishtwar district of Jammu division. An official told KNO that the passengers got injured after a mini bus they were travelling in skidded off road leaving the passengers frightened. "It seems that the driver was driving very fast due to which he lost his control over steering and the vehicle turned turtle on highway," the police sources told KNO. "But all the injured are out of danger," police sources said. Meanwhile, the deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Angrez Singh Rana visited the injured passengers at District Hospital Kishtwar and inspected the treatment being given to them by hospital authorities. He directed the hospital authorities to provide better and high quality treatment to the injured and prayed for their speedy recovery. "Every possible help would be extended to them from district administration for their early recovery," DC Kishtwar told KNO. (KNO)
